Went back up to Pipsqueak today and onsighted Little Pipper, ran up Little Scrapper to rate it, then bushwhacked over to The Snout and finished on Scragglepuss. KC had some holds disintegrate under her feet while she was standing just below the last few moves on Little Pipper. I trailed a rope up it and had her on belay. I cleaned up a hold about 2/3 of the way up and moved delicately after that point - that sucker is dangerous! I think The Snout should get you a star just for the approach :). Shortest climb we've done in the Pinns - it's pretty much "over" after the initial move - which felt harder than 5.6 to both of us - Rubine had it at 5.7 which we think is correct (sorry Brad). Scragglepuss is actually a fun climb. I cleaned up a few holds up high but most of it was pretty solid. Interesting footwork.

JC on Little Pipper 5.5R (it's a solo)

JC on The Snout 5.6

KC high steppin' past the crux on The Snout

JC takes a no hands rest after the last bolt while leading Scragglepuss

KC rockin' the last section of Scragglepuss - this was my favorite pic of the day :)

I'm enjoying your enthusiasm for topping out all of the Pinnacles. It seems like the two of you may have been on more Pinnacles in he last year then I have in all my years here.

Woohoo, fun stuff.  Starting to think about heading back to the Pinns, once it gets cooler.
