One of those days

I had planned to go to the Pins today so last night I sett the alarm for 5 AM.  I slept soundly till 9:30 AM.  Have not slept through the alarm in a long time.  Sometimes I hear it and do not get up but I rarely sleep right through.  I did check my phone, the alarm was on and the volume was up.

Time for coffee and I put the coffee grounds directly in my mug.  Take two, move the grounds to the coffee press which I proceed too fill with cold water.  Third time works out ok.

I'll tell you, there are Sunday mornings when I'd give my right arm to be able to sleep that late. So in one way of looking at it, I'd consider that a plus.

But I suspect you slept that late today because you've been working 'til all hours?

Sleep is good for healing. You can hurt yourself next weekend, then cash in the banked healing!

Actually, since you said you were getting closer, I had in mind:

Are you making progress on big projects at home or at work?

Ah, that is a good quote.  I like it.

Big projects at work.  Have a about a million dollars worth of software and hardware, well, a bit more, that is in play.  Mulitple projects finally getting traction all at the same time.  One at a time would be a bit more sane but this will get it done quicker.  We also brought a contractor in house and the guy is a big help.

We have an opening in Mountain View if anyone knows someone looking for an IT job.  They would not work for me but would take a fair bit of direction from me.  They have to have a decent sense of humor.
