closures 08
« on: January 10, 2008, 08:27:09 PM »
Yikes.  Just came from FoP site (Thursday PM) which stated only 2 days until closures.  Does that mean Saturday we can or can not climb soon to be closed areas?  Anyone know?  The plan was to give the rock a day to dry (Friday) and climb Saturday, but I'm wondering if I should give my partner a wake up call in the morning.

don't know what that is.

but I got an e-mail from Gavin this morning (from the Falkland Islands!).  he wrote that the closures take place every year on the Thursday before MLK Monday.  So, I'm reading that as 1/17 and plan to act accordingly.  no chance there's an attorney on this site if they arrest me for disturbing birds?
I would assume it would qualify as a personal injury.

That's the Lightning Bolt Crack in Condor Gulch. You'd like it on a day when you were feeling very adventurous. Let's go, since I still need to lead the variant finish.

And no attorney I know could arrest you - although I think I know one who would be willing to help you find a LEO to do so :)

actually I was hoping the attorney would get me off if I was arrested, not facilitate my arrest.  you don't know one by any chance?
see you down there tomorrow?
