Haha, sorry Brad.
I went skateboard last night in the seaside town of Cardiff with a bunch of guys that skate and work for Gravity Skateboards (a manufacturer). I didn't perform very well, but had a great time nonetheless. One success I had was skateboarding down a steep hill without crashing, stoping, or jumping off my board, an onsight if you well. Actually a redpoint because it was my third try. I was skating to fast and was out of control so I turned sharply which caused my board to slide down the hill sideways to control speed. I almost knocked into one of the guys walking back up the hill but lifted his leg up and I skated/slid under hit, avoiding a collision.
The beer part is understandable, I am sure.
One moment that wasn't so proud was when I was skateboarding down a hill and tried to turn off into a narrow driveway and turn sharply, making the wheels slide(loud noise), and come back into the downhill. Toeside meaning I was turning in the direction of my toes, not my heals. I was going to slow and couldnt pull of the turn, went to wide, and hit a trashcan that was full yard waste...
