SNP Bouldering??
« on: October 27, 2010, 11:09:28 AM »
So after I got a quick peek of the new SNP Bouldering guide at Brad's house, (was his copy autographed...hmmmmm) I'll admit that I was intrigued. Cool looking rock, close by, AND a place that I'd never seen before to boot! As a result of these facts I ended up picking up the guide at (of all placed) the Priest Station Cafe on the way up to a Summer weekend in the Meadows. First impression is the book was well done. I'll need to get up there sometime before I can lay down the book over the problems.

Anybody seen this and not motivated?

Munge, details details. I just pulled the book of my shelf and I wasn't specific enough, "Columbia Bouldering"- yes Deano.

My buddy Anthony just did the DeadPoint story for Columbia. He also has the back cover of the guide.

The place is rad. Even if you don't boulder its fun to walk around, get lost and trip out in the rock.

5 days in Sonora for Thanksgiving coming up soon!

Dudes, I'm in Monterey, CA. I go to pinns roughly 85% more often than any other area in a year. It's a short jaunt over the hill. Sometimes I don't mind going to splitter cracks, basalt columns, Gold Wall & Jailhouse and the frequent time spent in Columbia College, Yosemite National Park, Bishop, Mammoth, J Tree or my home crags in Sequoia.

Sometimes Pinns just gets too "normal" feeling. Ha ha
