Just back from Joe's house now and what a day it was.  I needed a break from the monotony of Ranger Bolts so we hatched another plan on the drive down. Mark Seelos and I succeeded in climbing ten 5.10's and eleven 5.11's in one day in the Bear Gulch area.  All climbs were done free by both of us with no falls. One person lead and the other followed on toprope. Car to car in 8:30.  Here is the order. Tereanean Tango, POD, Foreplay, Hawaiian Noises, Richnaks, Feed the beast, Cantaloupe Death, Bad Bolts, Rocket in My Pocket, Autocream, Black Dagger, Pearl Sheath, Deadpoint, Powerpoint, Stupendous Man, Verdict, Broken Arrow, Cosmos, Denied, Pickpocket, Angstroms Away. One of the best days of climbing ever.  Pinnacles is so underrated, where else in California can you find so many classic climbs in such close proximity.

Where was everyone else? We saw Munge flying solo and looking a little confused with where the crew was.

yeah, just a couple teams down on Disco. The mon was pretty quiet all in all. Good day for your guy's efforts. Congrats!  I wonder if it's a first?  Post up on the taco, or I don't mind posting up an OP on it.

12/12s next weekend?  make a list. Maybe get a real photog person down there.

21 pitches in a day at Pins I have done, but they were not that hard.  I have done 11 11's but not 11 11's and 10 10's.

Just to cool

taco doesn't count since it isn't a climbing site :)

I think Mark was going to post up something on the Super Taco sometime soon about our day. We took pictures of all the climbs. I think the main highlight was the number of stars we amassed, 42 Stars according to Brad's Book. With more time and more knowledge of certain routes we probably could have gotten 50 stars.

I cant imagine doing 12 12's at this point.  I've got a lot of work cut our for me, with actually doing all the routes before that linkup. Joe and i were talking last night about how sequential a lot of Pinnacles routes are and how some routes can feel easy one day and hard the next day due to many factors. So it would be a tricky day. I guess this would be the list:

Cataract, Tailspin, Penguin Handshake, Trial, Tarantula, Vigilante, The Druid, 40 Days of rain, Future Shock, Hard as a rock, Yo Mama, Gorillas in the Moss.

Now that would be a proud day of climbing. I'm not sure if this is possible by me, but maybe a few years down the line once I have done all these routes, it might be accomplished.
