Lost or Found?
« on: January 15, 2013, 01:07:26 PM »
Can anyone tell me if one of these is Dwarf Pinnacle?
I'm pretty convinced from the description that it's the one with the white label.
Looks like a bear of an approach.

Is this the Big Step? I'm pretty sure it is but couldn't locate the hangerless bolt and couldn't see the one old summit bolt.

I'd have to be out there with the book to see if it is Dwarf - I can't see enough in that photo to be sure.

The second one does look like The Big Step (90% sure). The bolt is hangerless, it is a 1/4" stud and it's rusty (that's my memory). Very hard to find.

I appreciate the effort.

Brad - I climbed up on the lower "step" yesterday and found the old 1/4" stud. It is toward the left hand side where I perceived the natural line @ 5.6 would be. Jon had stuff to install a bolt but no tools for removal. We may go back and work on this one.
