The Mr Mud Household

Just finished some fresh tomatoes, together with basil, olive oil and some salt and pepper. Washed down with a nice Syrah. The first two, (main) ingredients came courtesy of the Stroms' new garden (which incidentally came with a house). Nice house. Nice garden. Nice hospitality. One question though: what to call the place?

- Mudville?

- Stromdom?

Thanks for having us visit.

P.S. Uber, on another subject, CNN just indicated that you've devastated Mexico. What in hell have you been up to? Too many beans for supper again?

Ironically "Hurricane Lane" was my first nickname. I was born during a hurricane. My grandmother had to drive my mom to the hospital in beyond gale force winds and torrential rain. I didn't make it to the delivery room. Even back then, my distrust of doctors ran deep (no offense to the doctors on this forum).

Last of the fresh stuff from the Stromhold with dinner tonight. Fresh parsley over pasta. Proved tha parsley tastes like parsley, no matter where it's from.

Not even a month into the marriage, he has already attempted to accidentally lose the ring.  Only got unlucky that the surveyer hired by our homeowner insurance company found the wedding band outside the house and returned it to us.

Nice try though.  :)
Inch by inch, I will get there.

i lost mine this weekend at whitney portal.

i had it in a little zipper pocked in my shorts for the route, same pocked as the car key.

returned to car and removed key and did not zip pocked back up.

laid down near some rocks and drank beer.

that night, around 10pm, was getting shit ready at horseshow meadow for langley in the am and noticed the ring gone.

after we climbed langley on sunday, i drove back up to the portal and there it was, slightly burried by pine needles, right near the rock i was chillin by.
eow!

The Mr Mud household should be named Casa de Mud.

Funny, I haven't lost my ring and it's been 2 months.
I'm not worthy.
