bishop Guidebook

Had a chance to study the upcoming Bishop Area Guidebook. Very comprehensive. Lots at Whitney Portal (150 routes + ?), Some Lone Pine Peak (including Bastille Buttress), Complete Alabama Hills (with accurate ratings), crags off 395 just north of there I've never even heard of, and all the stuff that was in the last edition. About 300 pages long. Nice job.

Looking forward to it.

So they finally down graded all those 5.10's to 5.7?

Same author as the current edition (Lewis). And, yeah, some real downrating. BTW the author of the current Alabama Hills guidebook, Mike Strassman died some months ago, so having it in the Bishop guide means it will stay current with book updates.
