SV Olympic Triathlon

Was oh so much fun yesterday! Apart from the the run that was 1.3 miles too long!
I felt lethargic during the swim, and couldn't help but think of just how foul the water tasted. I crushed the bike course, of course! And I survived the run despite it being 7.5 miles instead of 6.2... I was actually on pace for a decent 10K considering that I haven't been running much for the last few months.
Check out my blog for the story...

My bike split was decent considering that I don't really have a time trail bike...
1:07:29.7 for 40k. That's an average pace of 22.1 MPH. The only hill was Bailey Road, and I wish I could do just the bike course to see how fast I could really go!

Flat TTs are great for just letting the legs explode. Good job on the 22+. Always a good feeling! With CDA out of the way, I might try the legs out at a few shorter local tris as well.
