Top ten routes in need of bolt replacement?
« on: July 08, 2009, 10:38:20 PM »
Hey all, just want to get the wheel going early for the "Autumn season" (Munge inspired).  I have my own list but thought we could get a list together in which to work off.

In no particular order:

The Roof anchor (needs one bolt)
The gutter (the bolt before you break out and left of the roof?) Maybe some others on the way up?
Serpient de cascabel, spelling? (2nd/3rd) haven't gone any further than that manky bail bolt from the ledge.
Lichen to lead (Scary lead in my opinion, horrible bolt up on the 2nd pitch)
Triple X ( upper 2 bolts)

Just a start, could a permanent thread be placed for this topic?
It would be nice to have a compiled list for the upcoming season, I got the Itch and want to make a serious dent in the bad bolt department this season.

cheers
mucci

The 3rd bolt on Future Shock.
The bolt is loose (wiggles).  This is the crux bolt and the one that people are most likely to fall on.

Top anchors for Cantalope Death. The rock has worn down over the years.

Atlas Shrugs Anchors...use ASCA ones

how does replacing anchors on cantaloupe help there, unless you're thinking of moving, and not merely replacement.
