hey kids, posting from alaska.

we had a banner day saturday and limited out our coho salmon in 90 minutes (24 total).  then we went lunking for the big halibuts.  we caught a lot and hog tied 'em to the boat to keep them alive in the event caught bigger ones.  we did catch bigger ones.  one was 117 lbs, another 80ish and the other two about 50 lbs.  blasted the 117-teener with a shot gun.  super manly shit up here in alaska.  pretty much rained at least half the day so we got pretty wet....

today was tougher fishing but we did limit our salmon and halibut.  no giant halibuts today, but some good ones between 30 and 50 lbs.  weather was perfect, super cloudy and no rain.

ended up in canadian waters at one point.

last day to fish is tomorrow and we are supposed to get a big storm with 50+ mph winds.  we will see what happens...might not be as prolific.

quite glad i brought ear plugs.  my brother drank too much today and is snoring louder than a chain saw as i type.

tight lines! tight lines!
eow!

we stayed inside because of the weather report, but the weather really never came.  it rained all day but no winds and the seas were calm.

we boated 23 out of 24 silvers, and got our limit on halibuts.  i got a 70lbs and a 50lbs.  the other two were pretty small.

we brought home a total of 460lbs of fillets.

Salad...you are a machine. Back from a week fishing and you are driving down and essentially climbing through the night/early AM. Careful on the drive pal.....
