Interview in 1.5 hours!
« on: November 17, 2009, 12:33:08 PM »
I have an interview with the Santa Clara PD today, for a non-police officer position. Should be fun! I'm actually wearing a suit and a tie to this one. I really need to get out of Walgreens, it's sucking the life out of me! I've been an assistant manager there for all of 3 weeks, and am tempted sometimes to just walk out... But I'd never do that!  ::)

Thanks y'all... Hard to tell how it went, as the interviewers are trained to remain stonefaced. My only clue was that one wished me good luck afterward. We'll see if that means anything... Panel interviews are tough when you're facing police officers!  ;)

If I made it past that, there's one more interview. That one would be a one-on-one with the officer I'd report to in the position of CSO. I do much better at those kind of interviews. At least I can say that I was appropriately dressed, well-groomed and answered the questions reasonably well. I'm hoping for it...
