Pinns Afternoon Sessions in the late season?
« on: March 23, 2010, 10:47:03 PM »
Mudmeister has done this. Might be fun to try it mid week or on a Friday. O'dark early start at work. Bail out early, head to pinns, blast some routes til pumped. Hike out in the dark, drive back after.

Perhaps.  If work settles down.  Slight variation is to grab a burrito before heading out.  It has been a while since I have done this.

Just terrible, utterly horrible. The place sucks ass. Don't ever go there.

Actually it was great. We did some killer moderates. Got to learn the #1 lesson when climbing at RR....don't huck your ropes off for a rappel when it's windy. Lesson #2....wear pants on the approach...no manpris. Lesson #3, give squiddo a map & compass before leaving the car  ;D

Can't wait to get back there again.

nice, good call, maybe play it by how much daylight we can squeeze out of the day as to when we try and wing it.

Good point F4, Fit = easier to justify the drive.

ION, depending on rain tonight, may hit castle for a session in the evening tomorrow. Up there around 5-5:30ish til dark.
