My buddy plans on climbing Saturday with me, plan on doing my first FA at  pinnacles on an out of the way cliff I sussed out on the east side with some moderate looking routes on it.  Kinda in the neglected Valley area. There is one route I would like to rebolt that I did with Brutus last year but it is closed now in the High Peaks.

You are welcomed to join us.  My buddy is still have foot problems with a foot injury he got last year.

I do not have a map but the crag we should be on is on a direct line between the anvil and chimney sweep. It is on the ridge between the two.  You can see it from the anvil.

It turns out we'll be down there too tomorrow. Weren't going because Mr. Mud got sick (again!), but he didn't want to sit at home, so we decided to go. Our friend Debby will join us. I think we'll be hanging out at Discovery Wall. If you walk by, you might see Mud taking a nap in the sun.

Oops, I spoke too soon. We got up and started packing, but Mr. Mud was in a zombie state. Too sick. Canceled the plan and I'll just hang out with Debby later on.

I hear ya, Uncle Stinky. The bike is the third expensive purchase I have ever made in my life! I should get at least 10 years of use out of it.

Oh my God I never knew that many people went on weekends.  From now on it is only week days only .  My buddy drove home and almost killed us on the way home on some lonely foothill road, 
got in a nice  hike and two bolts in a new route. very chossy though. 

Please enjoy your bike, maybe expense but you will never regret it!

Uncle Stink....you just have to go to the secret places away from the crowds. I like to warm up on disco wall and then head up to Marmot Rocks and chill it in the shade.

Afterwards, tailgate at the car and watch the poor sods walk out after dark.

All the crowds were on the trial and the ONLY places we saw climbers were on The Discovery wall, First Sister and Tourist Trap,  most people do not seem to want to hike to out of the way places.
