Miles retired
« on: June 15, 2010, 09:50:53 AM »

Maybe old news around here, but I just heard from a neighbor that Miles Standish retired.

"If it is really 30 minutes past the sunset, how is it that I can still see sunshine on the tops of those trees?"

good lord, that's the best news I've heard in some time. HURRAH!!!!
Hmmm, wonder where he will bring his bitterness now?

Time for some Castle sesh'ions.

Yeah, wow, how many lectures did that guy give out.  I got a double whammy for pushing the Sunset limit and walking out in the rain.  Hypothermia is a real threat in California when your a 15 minute walk from your vehicle.

I met his daughter at a party.  Downed some beer with her.  She was hot.

Perhaps that is why he was so bitter.
Here's to sweat in your eye

The guy was an ass and I'm fairly sure that hasn't changed.

PS- perhaps I would have liked him more had I known he had a daughter an a hot one at that.

Good story here....

I was riding at Fremont Older with 20 other folks who "happened to know each other".

He asked if we were a "group". We said no, that we knew each other from here and there.

Let's just say his response wasn't professional. And he just kept asking and asking. I think at one point everyone just scattered like cats.
I'm not worthy.
