Still if folks could leave thier gear in...that would be less weight to have to carry.

Even better, bolt the cracks and then we'd not have to fiddle with Pitons and hexes.

Come on it's all about convienence.

yes, that's right Squiddo. Know anyone that fits that bill?

I plan on heading down on Friday and if I am in the area I will replace the Mussy Hook w/loctite as Tom has suggested.  The bolt hanger is still there but whoever performed the act swapped out their quick link, which has just encouraged others to lower off the one remaining hook.

As for the fixed draw issue, just wanted to make it clear I do not advocate for such things at such a beautiful area as Pinnacles. I like convenience but don't think that level will ever make it to our spot. And if anyone wants help with rebolting or FA activities I have a strong arm/head and willingness to do it.  I am in need of some serious adventure that doesn't involve El Cap right now. I would love to learn the tricks of the trade for removing old and stubborn equipment.

Cool Adam, and Welcome!

For the record, I have a huge box of ASCA hardware.  Trying to knock it down a bit this year.

No chains, just those 3.5" SS bolts, and hangers.

FA activities

Mucci likes it when you talk dirty.

Might be in Josh this weekend. But after?

Adam,

I am not sure if this has been lead.  I bolted it and TR'd it but from what I know there has not been a lead.  Should be around 11b.

Mud,

Now I get it, now that Joe clued me into everyone's identities, to set the record straight I no longer TR if you are refering to The Delusion Overhang incident.

The route is about  70 feet.  Do to local ethics I do not want to lead it since I have TR'd it.  Once someone else goes down and gets the FL I will go down and get my lead.

Well ok, once my shoulder works again I will try and get into good enough shape so I can lead it.

If your interested I will PM you the location.  The pic was taken from a few hundred yards away.  I think it will be a decent lead.  It is a bit loose since it only has my one clean TR.  About 6 to 8 bolts.  Maybe a bit run at the top.

If your not interested I will offer it up to who ever wants to give it a go.  I would just like some kind of feedback.  Good, bad, whatever.

Was not referring to anything.  Just thought you might be interested and it seems from your posts you like hard climbs.

Not sure if we have ever met.

I graciously replaced the hook last weekend. Tom was stoked when I saw him today.
