OK, everyone knows that the FISH portaledge is the best, but given Munge's recent troubles with getting a response back from them, I was considering second options. BD? Metolius? Pika? Others?

Fish or A5/North Face is about the only option as far as I'm concerned. The A5 are not bad they just are not as good as the Fish ledges.

Another option is to go to K-Mart or Walmart and pick up a cot and a bunch of cordage. $40 total cost?
Any of you want to buy a slightly used Fish bag? It's been on 10 walls and is still in good condition.
Whatcha all want with a portaledge anyways. It's scary up there.
