Client Services is a tough gig.  Those folks do not make much and they take steady abuse.  On top of that most of those folks work their tail off.

Is this something that you're actually considering, or just commenting about? You've worked in the industry before, so you'd know more than I, but it sure seems like a tough way to make a living.

But on the other hand, maybe you could eventually get them to reconsider their location and reverse their decade-plus ago decision about moving to Utah. They could go with what was their second choice.... Sonora California.

I definitely am not considering.  Factor is just spewing since there is no way he would take that kind of pay cut.

Having spent years working besides the Service Desk guys it would take an act of desperation for me to go that route.  I know guys that are quite good at it and have made a name for themselves but as you said, it is a tough road.  For the most part it takes an amiable person with thick skin.

Did know a guy up in Washington that like to cuss out users (used actual swear words and abused people)  he was good and for what ever reason people really liked him.  For what it is worth he is no longer with the company.

Yeah, I have 2 mouths to feed.

We could apply for you??

Still can't get over the fact that they thought of Sonora for a WW headquarters. That's interesting to hear.

So you've got one of two requirements covered (should you ever change your mind)?
