Okay i clicked on the link. Jeepers they all look the same. Jenny said look for the tall one, but that still didn't help.

Nice performance.

I couldn't find myself either (almost). I'm not among the tallest. My first time seeing the dance myself too. Came out better than I expected.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

We really couldn't find her (although Vic said "yeah, she was the dark haired one in the middle back"). Part of it is the makeup (all the same). And the video panning constantly, without  a chance to study anyone in detail. Yeah, it's hard to tell which one she is.

Vicki wondered: was this a class mudworm took? How did she get involved in it?

It was part of a 100 year celebration for her University in Beijing.  She starts off on the left, 2nd row 2nd one back.  She then ends up moving to the back row 2nd from the right.  It is difficult to find her and the panning does not help.  I have watched a couple of times and keep loosing her (kind of like real life).  There was a celebration in Beijing and one here at the Flint Center.

The celebration was quite fun to watch even though the whole thing was in Chinese.  Chinese shows tend to have a lot of diversity.  Everything from skits, to Opera, to Bluegrass.  The show was fairly long, 4 hours with no breaks.

Mudworm had been practicing for this since January.  She was in two different dances.  This is the only dance that got posted to youtube.  She was easy to find in the other dance.

Yep, that's indeed what it was.  Recruiting for the show started last fall. They were mainly looking for alumni to perform. I was asked by a friend of mine, who herself was a fellow Tsinghua-ian, to join the group dances. Equipped with "Can-Do" attitude, I accepted. All of us are volunteers including the director and we had to pay for the dance studio usage, and costumes, etc. The practice actually started in the 1st week of November last year, and we did it every Monday night without a break through the holidays until the show on May 21.

Now, Mud does not get his alone time every Monday night any more.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

In this dance, I did my part to help Mud find me from the audience.

This is another video of the same dance Mud posted earlier. I thought this was at a better angle and with less panning, but it's still hard to spot any individual.

Inch by inch, I will get there.
