Thanks for the Birthday wishes! We spent three nights in Great Basin National Park and hiked Wheeler Peak on my birthday. What an awesome way to spend the big 60!!! Will have to post some pics at some point - but just happy to be back home as of today!

View back up the textbook windblown alpine ridge/route from a meadow far below. I estimated the wind above treeline at 25mph on the way up and 35mph on the descent but there was no wind at the summit. A wild and rocky place (all marble).
