Finally a Significant Storm
« on: March 18, 2012, 10:15:17 AM »
After climbing on Sonora Pass in January; after clear days and more clear days; after little bitty storms that dump a few inches of snow: finally a significant - but not yet large - storm.

We just finished two hours plus snow-blowing and shoveling. Good excercise:

Now to get the home-fires burning, then a good book and some more coffee. It's a good day.

Hey, there's snow on Chalone Peak down to about 2500'.  I'll try to get closer tomorrow.

It's still cold and coming down here too. About another six inches since we cleaned up the driveway.

I think the URL changes after the photo finishes downloading. Maybe?

Anyway I went back this morning and all the URLs had changed so I reloaded them.

Can you see them now Munge?

In contrast to this year, here are some photos from one of the bigger storms of last year. In the first photo, although I can't be sure, I swear that the garage header is sagging slightly?

Then in this photo, although one's attention is drawn at first to the snow, does anyone also see the big cam hanging on the wall?

Temps dip into the teens yet?

Call me when Niagara freezes.

It does look wet and cold.

Makes me want to go and get another hot chocolate.

Why would ever you ask that?
