I haven’t been to Coe for a couple months; my mother had some health difficulties but she’s all better now and today I’m able to get in one last Coe ride into 2012. I joined Roy, Paul, and Chris on a fallen tree removal mission. Not a big ride, both targets are on the front side of the first ridge out of Hunting Hollow. #1 is on Grapevine Trail near the Grapevine springs. #2 is at the lower end of Cattle Duster Trail. With that behind us, we continue up Grapevine and take little break at Coit Springs:

It was very nice Winter day. Temps at the valley floor were higher than I expected, and of course, as we climbed, things warmed up.
We get to end the day with a fun Jackson/Anza descent….though the ruts from the recent rain are a bit terrifying – Roy, Chris:
