I have to guide a group at Castle rock Saturday morning but hope to get down there early evening. Jon and friends have a site so they are headed down for sure, probably will just jump in with them to get down there.

Wow, I didn't know the event is on this weekend. I can't go, but me thinks that Mud should go for Saturday. (Will need him on Sunday since we have an inspection scheduled for Tuesday.) Anyone else going for a day trip and want to carpool?

Nope, Pinns is always better than Sonora Pass.

The Youngs are out though. I've just put in two non-stop, ultra-stressful days on top of a hard earlier part of the week (and I'm still at the office). For example I was in trial all day today. I'm flat out exhausted. The thought of getting home, packing and then doing a 3 1/2 hour drive is almost enough to make me cry right now. I can't do it.

I also got the proof from the printer of the whole guidebook text today and I've got to find time to review that to make sure everything is printed right. I can't do it all.

We had a gas. Thanks to everyone that came out and especially those that contributed extra funds to offset the camping fee. We did find one thing kinda strange....how did the oldest climbers last the longest? We expected to see the gang from Disco again later in the day but after we finished Lost Sister there was no one in sight. We hiked back past the Monolith and took the climbers trail back along Disco but everyone had bailed. No cars in the parking lot and no one at the Mexican Food in Tres Pinos. Will post more later...
