Can anyone tell me whether Romper Room and Nipples and Knobs is the same route? This is taken from the Friends of the Pinnacles, New Route page. Thanks.

They are different.

do a cntr'l f for 'nipples' and then 'romper' and you'll find the descriptions and some location info.

Basically Romper Room is between the South Face of Flumes and the East Face of Flumes on it's own sort of face.  Nipples and Knobs is on the main East Face.

Thanks much for the info. Can Romper Room be approached from the NE side (main Flumes Wall)?

not directly

from the bridge at the creek walk to just before the trail goes up hill to the switchbacks where the main approach is, it's at that point right before going up the trail that you cut left up an embankment to the base of Romper Room (as if approaching drizzy drain)

It's a good Jon Cochrane route.  But don't mess up that 2nd clip.
