Henry Coe State Park June 15, 2013

Pay no mind to this one, not much in the way of stories or photos. Just a nice day at Coe seeking out the singletrack…

Going up the Lyman Willson wall, I noticed that, of all things, the trail fairies have taken up the long-dormant zig-zag ascent of the wall. It's just a barely visible scrap running dead center from the photographer's point-of-view:

This photo looks fake. I don't know why?

This is just off of County Line Road. First time down the 13 switchbacks with the new bike. It went well, made all of them but had one do-over (I just rushed it a little).

The Orestimba Corral:

Orestimba Creek Trail, pines killed in the 2007 Lick Fire seem to fall in two steps. The top portion falls leaving lots of half-tree:

…to fall over later.

I rode out the Orestimba Creek Road:

…for a while and at a random point decided to turn-around so as to not get back too very late. I like it out here.

Nice pics.  The trail fairies should leave LW alone and stay over on JDT.  Doing their "proper job" on JDT should keep them busy for at least a decade.  Keeping the trail fairies busy on JDT for a decade or two is better for everyone.

Did a really good ride last weekend.  It was fantastic largely because the majority of the trails were not up to DPR standards.

Here's to sweat in your eye

I see what you mean. The world has only three colors in this photo. Very delusional.
Inch by inch, I will get there.
