Damned if Katie isn't living the life. She's off scouting possible, future hikes and backpacking trips for her company (they're thinking of expanding their guiding service to include Lassen National Park).

So while I am at work today, little miss always-in-the-mountains texts me from the top of Lassen Peak (and notice that yes, Shasta is in the background of the photo she texted):

Flickr is one way, but the link will point back to your whole account. Maybe not an issue? Just paste the full embedded code from the sharing tab.

The other is youtube. You need a youtube account. Upload it. Then copy the share link out and paste it with the youtube button.It will have tags for you

Well, I did it the British way (I muddled through). The result is weird. I see it when I read the thread on my computer (and from their posts, I guess others do too). But it plays constantly and there's no "play" button.

One of these days maybe you can walk me through it? In person though, it's so much easier that way.

Can you send me whatever link you embedded? I can't see whatever you embedded, if it worked. If I were an admin, I could attempt to review it, but I was told that you have to onsight 5.12, able to stance on just over vertical water chutes, and have shared a shiver bivy with a mountain goat. So this week is out for me as admin.

Alright, I'll use this thread for now to switch over to Tricia.

As some of you may know, university applications for admission next year are due by the end of the month. "T" is applying to five universities.

She completed and submitted her first application less than 48 hours ago. Annnnd... this morning, she just got her first acceptance by email.
