Machete Ridge tree
« on: March 24, 2014, 03:22:06 PM »
I was kind of bummed to see that tall bent tree on the face of Machete Ridge has broken.  It was always kind of fun to see.  Must have busted int he high winds a couple of weeks ago.

Which one? The one at the start of Daedalus?

The one just left of center.  Was going to take a photo and forgot.

Bummer, I was lucky to have shimmied up that sucker with Brad.

Does this mean a new start is needed?

It has been looking haggard bent for the last season or so.

That was a cool tree.  How did it get so bent in the first place?

Plus-size climbers to blame, it's an epidemic.

My oldest climbing partner recently told me I was one.

I will miss that tree, we should replant.

We need to re-plant it.

Who can go up there and burry a pine-cone?
