So is it just me, or is the idea of sleeping in a tent, 10 feet off the ground (and accessed by a ladder) a bit of a negative?
At age 53, I admit, it's a rare night when I don't have to get up to pee. Ten feet down a ladder to pee? I don't think so.
Maybe I could I pee from the tent's platform? Although I wouldn't fall off or pee onto the truck if I was fully awake, I'm not usually fully awake at that time of night. So no, that won't work either.
My friend Bill would suggest using a pee bottle. I'm generally OK with that, but I don't think Vicki would approve (at least not if she were sharing the tent with me). So I'd have a tent that I could only use without my wife? I don't think that would work either.
Nope, I think I'm perfectly fine with sleeping on the ground.
