How is CruxLuv?
« on: April 14, 2014, 08:12:02 AM »
I saw a really ugly photo on Vicki's Facebook page (she wasn't ugly, but the arm in a huge cast was). It was ugly enough that I'm worried that she'll be out of action for quite a while.

Crux, what's up? It's obvious that you got hurt. Vicki and I hope for a full and speedy recovery.

From Phil's post on FB...

Quote
She's fine, except for a broken wrist, which I guess really isn't "fine". But she'll be in fighting shape in 6~8 weeks, hopefully. As we were heading down Soquel, toward Aptos Village, we passed under the trestle, a dude on a mountain bike rode through the red light at Spreckles and didn't even look, he rode right in front of her, and they collided.

Sh#t, "except for a broken wrist!?!"

Biking is a very dangerous sport.

Wishing the best for a rapid recovery.  Broke my elbow in 2009 after botching a clip on the road.  Radiologist looked at the x-ray and said "you did this biking, right ?".  Pavement is harder than bone.
