There was a fatal accident yesterday ( I read and  heard this is not common ) right down the street from where we are.  The guy in the truck ran and the locals chased him down and “Thrashed him” then burned his truck.  Perhaps this is why.

In a world of large bovines rummaging through garbage, the lights flicker and eyes flutter from lack of caffeine. The smell of burning vehicles permeates the air.

Person or cow killed? The driver may have fell asleep at the wheel from coffee deprivation. Group anger management intervention classes needed.

Person.  I think actually getting into a vehicular accident here is considered bad form.  Really hurting someone is really bad form.  Kind of like rap bolting on discovering wall but worse.  So the trashing makes sense, do you not agree?  I think I blame everything on a lack of caffeine.

Wish Mr. Mud a smooth journey home. The 24-hour trip from India back to the US is always brutal. Last time, the first stop I made after returning was to Rite Aid to pick up meds for a stomach bug that bugged me for 10 days. Hope it's different for Mr. Mud.

We hit Ride Aid. Got my bug on the last day. Four hours before my flight I started hitting the head every half hour. Once in the airport I basically went from bathroom to bathroom. First leg of the flight I thankfully had an aisle seat right next to the bathroom.  Not so fortunate on the second leg.

The second leg was one of my least enjoyable flights. I had two real big guys between me and the aisle, constant upset stomach and bowels that were un-happy.  I basically did not eat or drink. Plus there was a small boy that cried, wailed, sobbed, and screamed for about eight and a half hours ( no exaggeration ).  Plus I could hear him going through immigration and at baggage claim.  Every once in a while one or two other kids in the area would join in. Good to be home.

Welcome back....now get some Cipro....darn I had a prescription I didn't fill.

That will kill the bug.

Does this mean the forum is now outsourced?

Well, that settles it. Not going to India, ever.

Everyone I've known gets ill after these business India trips.

It is a good way to lose weight....

Every travel kit should have Imodium and those electrolyte tablets. Cipro would be nice, but excessive.

In Fiji both of us got something from the nightly Kava.

We ended up getting Cipro for Jenny.

Such fun.

Mr. Mud is going in to surgery for arthroscopy today. I think he is inherently scared of the surgery because last night I heard him say to the kitties it could be their last time sitting on his lap.  Pfffft, apparently, the kitties were not fooled. Despite him trying hard to coax them to come to him, scenes like following were *not* observed last night.

You'll have to try your charm some other day, Mr. Mud!

If he makes a mad, last minute dash for the door, I will understand. Whether his gown is open to the front or back might make for interesting video surveillance footage of his attempted escape.
Good luck Mud!

Thanks all.  Just got home.  A bit sore but already notice the improved range of motion.  Doctor said that I can start doing lat pulls.  Not much weight but I can start.  Have a cat on my lap.
