not a re-injure.  It is a new injure.  fractured clavicle.  packing up to so we can head home.  Thumbs up was cuz I just completed the walk out which was becoming a bit uncomfortable.  The upside down camelback is the make shift sling which worked fairly well.

Thank you Tom for walking my bike out, that helped quite a bit.

well, the good news would be yer shoulder isn't more messed-up.

Bad news, the likely rehab will still suck and you'll have to work on the same shoulder muscles.

Best you loan me your Cannondale for a few months.

Heal up!

 Dagnabbit.

You can hike with me and do multipitch MFA's with binoculars.

We need a sailor cussing , slave driving, trail boss captain to direct trail building at the end of October. Lawn chair will be provided. Contraband, you will have to sneak that in yourself.

Holy crap. You climb hard, dangerous stuff at Pinns for years and stay injury free, but as soon as you get into hard biking you start battering yourself silly (were you riding hard or just casually?).

I agree with Clink. Now you gotta come out to the trail work, relax in a lawn chair and make sure we don't screw it up.

will try and make the trail work day.  I am plenty good a cussing.  Was riding hard but it was a fairly non-technical trail.  Considering I have been riding bikes for over 45 years two injuries is not to bad (not counting road rash).  Good to be home.

just got back from the Ortho, looks like, unless something moves there will not be any surgery.  Seems like two weeks for the worst of  discomfort then 6 weeks to heal up.

And then 10 weeks beyond that to get muscle strength back to the point it was at before the injury. Damn dangerous sports.

Just got off the phone with a friend who has broken his collarbone three times and he said 8 to 12 weeks.  So my 6 to 8 might be a bit optimistic.  Doc said the head was fine (relatively).

I think that is the, do you have pain meds and beer look.
