I think it would be warranted to drop Munge from this group.

Mungie marches to the beat of his own hammer drill :)

OMG, two or three seasons away and the Santa Cruzians take over!

I did have thoughts of going down tomorrow. Anyone going for sure? Email me?

Yes, pumpkin, we'll still have you.

"This group" is not about where you live, it's about whether you make the time to do good for the climbing community.

OK, I'm planning on being there with Jean Tucky for all or part of it.

If people are planning on going please send Larry a note to reserve a spot.  They are accommodating 100 people and the slots are filling up.  Last year was a really good event with plenty of good food, beer and swag.  Definitely bring $5 to $10 for raffle tickets.  Last year I think everyone managed to get out at least one day for climbing.

Reserve Your Space by Oct 10th by emailing climb510@mtntools.com

Okay not to jinx anything but the temp today at Pinns only hit 77 and the forecast for next Friday is the same.
I just knocked my giant forehead against some wood to ward off evil spirits...

I don't care what anybody says (this is new?) - it is already time to re-dedicate yourself to the mud (not that I'd ever need to do that). I mean why climb pristine, bullet...(jeez I can't even say it) when we have all this wonderful volcanic oatmeal to cling to?

If you haven't officially signed up yet, Larry really needs a count - so get out there and fill out your forms! :)

I'm still trying to recruit some more fair-weather Pinn heads and want to encourage everybody to sign up and make this another successful year. I saw where the AAC jumped on board.

Get psyched!!!

We'll be there Fri, Sat and maybe leave Sunday morning.

Temps were a little hotter today than predicted but still very nice.

I was hoping to get enough work done on Friday and Saturday that I could climb Sunday. Clink, would you take me to one of your new routes on Sunday?

It's not looking like it'll happen, but 50% of rain is predicted for Saturday (source). Bring your rain gear.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

National Weather Service prediction for Saturday is: "A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 69."

Possibly just enough to keep us workers cool?

It'd be more inconvenient if it rained at night while we're trying to socialize  ;D
