Really nice day at Disco!  I am still feeling it.

We looked at the Long and the Short of It but thought the moss was still a little wet to try and go for the second. What an obvious line. Looks like fun.

Where the hell is Munge? That guy has all the accessories ever invented for climbing (and BLL too). He's even got a canoe. And Paddles.

How did you use the paddles?

Was that a night time thing?

You put the truck in the boat. Paddle across the reservoir. Extract truck with 3 to 1 hauling system. Take gear out of truck and climb. Finish climb, then run truck off of dam into the San Joaquin. Walk home.

Rather simple, really.

Aaron, three routes now. All good. Easier than we thought rating wise.

Targeting the corner next when temps get cold.

That picture looks like concrete underneath a freeway over pass and certainly has no place on a thread about Pinnacles ;)

I blame Brad.

What the hell did I do this time?

Roger and I replaced seven 20+ year old bolts at Welcome Wall today. With big honkin' 1/2" stainless steel (provided by ASCA, thanks to funding from, I am quite certain, many generous BAPs).

Is a BAP what happens when Munge swings his paddle a bit to high?
