Wettest December in 100 years
« on: December 19, 2014, 03:27:08 PM »
Well that is what I have read anyway.  We still have a few more days of rain before it is over.  Stevens Creak Reservoir went from 5% to 45% capacity in two weeks.

We have about 50% of our yearly rain fall.

Have you watched the USGS film Riding The Storm?

http://online.wr.usgs.gov/calendar/2007/feb07.html

If the address doesn't work you can search by title on USGS website.

A bit slow in spots but pretty good - there might even be some people/neighbors you know.

But look at the bright side - fewer dirtbags putting up new routes (which then have to be repeated).

From now on make Brad work for location of new FAs. GPS or clues...

Tricia and I torched our third, and by far largest, burn pile of this season. The flames got as high as 25 feet before we were done adding fuel.

Better to burn it now than have it burn during the driest September in 100 years!
