MLK Day
« on: January 20, 2015, 10:40:39 AM »
Got out with Brad and Crux Luv yesterday and just climbed. I felt light as a feather without my bolt bag.
I also discovered that I may be possessed with that accoutrement clipped to my harness.
Brad led 250 Too Quick and then I led it. We may adjust the rating on that one but I think it might be a good idea to have a few more folks lead it first to get a bigger sampling for consensus. I led 900 For The Lead next and really enjoyed it.
Crux stepped out and led Bynum's Regular Route followed by Brad's confirmation of Rob's TR (A Play in Three Acts)
We ended a very pleasant day with Crux Luv leading Finagle.
One wheel shy of normal

Superb job by Crux. I hope she's not sore today.

It was nice to hike and climb without all the first ascent junk.

I found it somewhat disconcerting that J.C. seemed to be able to rate a climb by how much grunting I did while I was on it.

That's funny!  The other day at work I had to crawl underneath something we were working on.  My metal worker friend said I was making involuntary old man grunts/noises.

Such a great day with you fellas!!  Excellent climbs with superb climbing partners.

Surprisingly, no ill effects from all that fun - yay!

Thanks again -

Phil loves me a whole bunch - but prolly not enough to give me a climbing pass on his birthday.

Dammit.
