Mud, I ate a pastry on your behalf.

Great additions to the West Side.

Many thanks.

P.S.   I have your beer.
P.P.S.S.  Nice sequence on the pics.

Different day. I hugely enjoyed the bouldering at Osiris.

JC and Aaron were the go getters. Great additions to the West Side.

Oh - I see - while I was sweating it out you were off having fun!

Bob, Where the Sun Don't is done and waiting. I think you already have climbed all the others.

Great additions to the West Side.

Great work all!  I was drinking wine in St. Helena.

After following Where the Sun Don't  I have come up with an alternate name....Cutting the Rug.  I told John that traversing across that big piece of dirty loose moss was like laying on the floor in house where somebody had not vacuumed in a long time.  It's like one big loose sheet of moss with kitty litter material coming out of it.  I half expected a cat turd, some cigarette butts, and beer bottle caps to come shakin' out.

With that said John did a great job getting through that section and placing three bolts back to back. I did not get any of his bolts this weekend 8) The route really rounds out the wall nicely.

 JC,
The location of the anchor for Where the Sun Shines/Self-Selecting Substrate.

A long discussion on where to place anchor in order to completely AVOID the hanging meadow took place. Please note "It is this wish of the first ascensionists that the hanging meadow be preserved, so please, KEEP OFF the grass."

Please note something along these lines in the route description.

Remember Tilting Terrace before all the traffic.

Thankyou,
Jon Cochran

I respectfully believe your well thought out anchor location and attention to detail have already remedied any potential ecological disaster.

A few good pics in there munge, the new camera does make a difference.  Your composition is also getting better.

Kind of half to laugh a bit, do we really think that sling will do anything.

Munge,

Great pictures!  Thank you very much for the posting. They really pop!

Mud,

Yes the "royal we" thinks the sling did loads for my mental state...

Thx Aaron.

I'm really stoked that some of these came out and really captured some of that Pinnacles traditional approach with some great examples.

Proud papa and dare I say relieved?
