Surprise lunch.
« on: February 24, 2015, 01:25:38 PM »
Sunday morning I woke up to a plate of blueberry muffins and a note that a lunch was made for "climbing Dad". Rachel has been ful of pleasant surprises lately.

When it comes to daughters you've got quantity and quality locked up.  ;)

Dang - it look like there's a dozen! I should have asked for more in the parking lot!

She hasn't asked for anything yet. Now that she is working, the reality of how one gets money is sinking in, I think. Even chores are getting done without having to threaten her existence.
Right now it's her going places in cars with inexperienced drivers that worries me.
All the girls seem to be doing well right now. Laura has already made herself bacon and eggs this morning and is catching a ride at 6:30 down the mountain with me. Tues. and Thurs. are Carrie's college days, she has been working at the mall's Bath and Body Works, but is looking for a new job.

Sounds like my house,  The job thing and driving thing.  Low level jobs are no fun for kids when they see how much they have to work for so little.   With teenager drivers  distractions in the car that cause the most accidents with alcohol only being second. I have no fear of booze with the kids my daughter hangs out with but they do not always think.
