Sunday - March 22nd
« on: March 19, 2015, 02:38:32 PM »
Heading down to the Pins.  Is anyone else climbing there.  We may have a party of three.  At the moment I am not leading or climbing very hard.  Recommendations?

Yes, join us at The Northeast Frontier. Meet at the East Side parking lot at 9:00 a.m.

You've never been there before. It contains a dozen routes from 5.6 up. Clink, me, Steve Dawson and probably Brian and Whitney are going. I think Gavin is going too but I'm not sure. the views are great. No crowds.

Love to have you, so I hope your back does calm down.

P.S. it isn't "crashing" if you're always welcome.

yeah, let's keep the crash word to a minimum, at least for a while.  Hope the back gets better.

Will plan on being there at 9

There is a stellar 5.4 there as well Mud.
Crowds may be a possibility.

Yes, J.C. should try to come out on Sunday. If nothing else, I need him to show me where the 5.4 is - it isn't on the route list since I wasn't there when it was done.

Can you?

Nice meetin up w/Y'all last weekend! Gotta say, I was skeptical of the "one hour hike straight uphill", and the little squirt was whining out loud what we were thinking in our heads, but it was a very nice hike, nice low commitment (single pitch) climbs, and TOPROPE, oh god the top rope.

I was suprised you all love top rope as much as I do.

5.6 lead 4-ever!

Until next time,
Laura

It was a really fun day of climbing and hanging out with you all.

Brad, you were right that you didn't say "upper parking lot". Funny how both Mud and I automatically assumed it. Thanks CruxLuv for hiking up to inform us.

JC sent me a few photos he took of us climbing. I hope it's okay I post a couple here. The climbs had some aesthetics appeal to me.

More photos coming?
Inch by inch, I will get there.
