Gavin,

I'm not sure when I'll be out again. It seemed like he had no idea when he would be out either. My health has improved by my g/f's health is requiring my attention right now. If you get out there go ahead and take them down. Two are fixed draws, like at a gym, so you may need a wrench to get those two off. You can also aid the first 3-4 bolts.

Brad,

I'm not sure if he has what it takes. M.o.M is a huge error in judgement and despite leaving draws up for weeks he may be smart enough to not go down the mud worm hole.

Is that a congenital defect, or did you learn it?

born that way.

I've tried treating it with Medicinal Wild Turkey, but no change in symptoms.

Though I do have an urge to climb near Lone Pine Peak after the treatments.

I've added to the Ubermensch page of mountain project concerning fixed draws. I also added a comment to the main Pinnacles page as well. The gentleman who's fixed gear are the source of this post added to the page as well and you can see the quick link fixed draws in his photo that he's added. It's great to see more strong climbers out but its been a pain cleaning up all the loose tape and trash around these routes in the past few years. It really pains me to see talented climbers not give enough thought to their impact.

Nice work, Kyle, on the Mountain Projects thread, climbing that line, and taking down the draws. Thanks for your efforts!

Yes, quite nice, minus the rain. 5.14 turned to A1 after we realized it was way too moist to keep climbing. I am now holding the draws ransom for the exact amount it takes to ship them via USPS.

It was actually great to get back on Uber again. I haven't been feeling strong since my Thanksgiving trip. After moving, training a bit, getting hurt, taking a break, training again, getting sick for two weeks followed by my girlfriend sick for another week and my dog getting tore up, it was nice to hop up off the couch and pull down on something hard again. It was a bit inspiring.  :)  I've been training a bit more since. Who knows, maybe I'll actually start climbing outside regularly again.
