depends on who you ask.

years ago I went through and tabulated who had the most stars.  The problem is there is some over stared and under stared routes

But one definite answer is, not me.

I have a question which might be considered trivia.  Who did the first free ascent of The Shaft?  I did it free back in 1977.  I am not claiming the FFA, but would be interested in knowing if anybody did it free before that.

I did it in the mid eighties and had heard by then it went free. In two years is there going to be a 40 year anniversary repeat free ascent of the Shaft by bhilden?

may qualify, as the most "likely" candidate, if this definition of seeing stars is used.

When and who placed the "garbage can handle" on Twinkle Toes?  (At least that is what we called it in 1980. I have also heard it called a garage door handle??)

Clink,

good question about Twinkle Toes.  In looking at my Chuck Richard's guide, I noticed that Chuck(who did the FA in 1972) describes three bolts on the first pitch.  Now, there are only two bolts.  This may be one of the only climbs in the Pinnacles where the number of bolts has decreased over time:-)
