forced log out
« on: April 16, 2015, 09:14:05 AM »
From time to time I come back to this machine and find I've been logged out.

Have you guys implemented a mod that checks for excessive unidentified IP addresses?

Doesn't seem to happen from the phone, that I recall.

Anyone else experience this?

I haven't been clearing cache/cookies on this machine, unless saving by favorites too.

That's what you get for not visiting this forum often (like, every other day)!  >:D

Well, it was set that way after people reported getting "Session verification failed" errors. Found suggestions online to shorten the persisted session timeout in order to fix the error. I think it was shortened to two days. That means if you visit the forum at least once every two days, the session will be extended. Otherwise, you need to log in again. There is no reason for you to stay away from the forum that long, is there? (Covering my ear now so I'm not hearing any answer...)
Inch by inch, I will get there.

Pretty sure I'm visiting regularly within that window.

Will count it out next time.

Next time you guys log in, also make sure "Forever" is picked out of the drop down menu next to the "login" button.
