Brad was there when that photo was taken in January 2013.  He was climbing with Gavin over at the Yaks.  Clint and I were up to rebolt the Reg Route on Marmot Rock after seeing John Cook's trip report and the condition of the bolts.  Two months previously, I had had a 9" piece of stainless steel taken out of my right leg and a 4" piece of stainless steel taken out of my right collarbone, the result of my bike crash in France, so I was pretty out of it.  That probably explains why I was so choked up on my hammer.

As far as the details of the grant go, I had to specify the routes we were going to work on with the money.  I selected the Nexus/Sexus/Plexus area and Resurrection Wall.  Both targets of high opportunity(AKA lots of bolts!).
Unfortunately, those areas are subject to bird closures so we will have to work fast and hope El Nino doesn't come in full force.

Thanks to all those who have taken up the cause of stewardship at the Pinnacles.  That goes a long way towards giving our efforts credibility in the eyes of others.

Cool

Lemme know if you need help.

If I am not abroad, I'll gladly help.

Resurrection, I know you and Clint did the 1st pitch. The upper ones need some love.
I think Adam did some work. I hope he upgraded the 3-4? pitch anchors. they were tired.

Such a cool route and worthy of a few new bolts
I'm not worthy.

Awesome photo and awesome work, Bruce. Given time constraints with closures, you might want to focus on Resurrection Wall first. Send me an email about the Nexus area and we can likely figure something out for you guys working out there even after the January closures are in effect.
