Any age. We make a couple of "family" trips each year and the ages have been from one on up. Johnny is 4, Layton and Colton are ten(?) Jeremy usually brings his girls, 6 and 9, I am guessing the ages. A couple of my teenage girls are coming.

Some of us are getting Christmas trees after and grabbing an early dinner, to be decided.

Estimation on how long you'll be there? I'd be interested in putting some faces with some avatars, but Calvin and I probably couldn't make it 'til 10:30 or 11 or so.

Also, I can't speak 100% for the ridgetop, but down in the valley we got 1.25" of rain over the last 24 hours, so the rock may be a bit slippery.

I'll try to find you out there tomorrow morning.  Not gonna make an 8:30 parking lot start, but I will make my kids wander a bit.

mj, Calvin and Dad, We will be heading to Lyme Disease Rock first and if time allows to Indian Rock and plan on leaving at 2. They are both on the same side of the road opposite Castle Rock, Indian Rock is a few minutes to the left of the trail-head and Lyme Disease Rock is 10 minutes or so down the trail to the right.
Hope to see you.

Munge, I still want you to show me your circuit. How is that shoulder doing?

Sounds great. If you see a guy wandering around with a 10 month old in a big blue backpack wave him down; it's probably me. Real name's Shane.

Come over (with beer) and lets take a look at it.

You need an MRI.

But regardless, you need to start a PT. maybe the strengthening will help (it did for my other shoulder).

Remember, mine was 1st a little tear at the front and then I TORE the remaining front off in the Gym....Of course little did I know the back was torn as a kid.

If going to a DR today, give me a call when you get moving.

Clink, my crew has gym class @ 11. All apart of the master plan.

Thanks for shooting out the group invite clink. It was great to get to meet some of the people I've been jabbering with here. And it's always awesome to see the next generation tearing it up.

mj, my kids shoe's are size 1/33. I'll toss 'em in the pack next time and we can try them on one or both of yours.

I agree with both the PT and MRI.  A good PT will quite often know if it can be rehabbed or if the need to see a doctor.  I know when guy who was sent to PT by a doc and they sent him back to the doctor after two weeks.  As far as how bad it is that can only really be determined with an MRI.  A good doctor will have a pretty good idea but the have to see the images to know.

Yup. you just say constant pain, weakness, can't sleep, poor quality of life.

The General Docs....they don't want you to get the MRI.,..$$$$, they will blow you off (unless you finagle a few PT appointments out of them)
The Ortho guys, they see the stuff all the time and are more open to an MRI.
The PT guys, see the stuff all the time and do a detailed assessment of your current state. They are more open and can help formulate an argument as to why you need an Ortho/ MRI.

Reality, I was pretty messed up (complete labrium detachment) and no amount of PT would save me. It just helps you after surgery.

Only a couple times. Rob Chang got me stoked on the area when I first moved to the So Bay. He had recently lead it cleanly and put the rope on TR. Hung and then sent. Went back later for a couple more shots. But haven't done it since the big hold broke. That thing was a huge foot booster for the reach.
