Yup finally confirmed. Santa Cruz has lost it's culture..

No picture of my amazing 4**** route down from Petiee Mart??? Mungie handed me a rack and said start climbing...said rack was sans bolt kit. But what did I know. I later found out that if you can land into bushes....they are a nice cushion.

No bolts, just a #1 red camalot (3urd version).

Oh and the W-Front routes are Larry's creation. He likes to hear about repeats.
"do you climb at the pinnacles?" A little. "have you been to the W-Front?" YUP, and we did all of the routes....nice ones.

Sorry F4 - that's Riviera Lanes in my home town - Akron Ohio - it's a 4 star alley where the pros roll.
Look at that ball heading right to the pocket - pretty sure I got a strike on that one ;D

clink - I'm surprised we didn't see one of those creatures at the res today. The water levels were so high we couldn't hike across the dam without getting our feet wet. I'll post some pics later this week. Headed back down with Brad tomorrow.

JC, bring yer balls, the Casino over the hill from Brad's has lanes. We should roll!  I used to work in the snack bar at my local alley. Never bowled a 300, but came close.

Our work sometimes does an bowl event and I always surprise myself that I remember how to line things up and follow through.

Soledad has a bowling alley with live music and pizza.  Don't know if they have the night bowling with black lights.  Post climbing bowling anyone?

Here is the validation mungie

Brad and Kat crossing the flooded dam trail.
Brad has already gotten his feet wet twice. Kat still has one to get through.

I've never seen it so full that you couldn't get by without getting wet feet - two inches deep even on the side of the trail away from the reservoir.

Good for Pinnacles!

Nice, it should clear up in a bit.

Then it's swimming time this spring.

Good thing they fixed the dam up 10yrs ago or so.
