That might look like sun in the background but it is not. It was drizzly all day with no sun yesterday - no wind either.
There were streams flowing down some of the trails and I cut away some branches from a fallen tree to clear a short section of the Juniper Canyon trail. The little waterfall in the picture is the Resurrection cutoff.

Before

After

This looks like fun - too bad it will have to wait until after the closures are lifted  :frown: :crying:

I had to remind myself that streams do not run - they flow

I don't like to plan that far ahead but with the upcoming closures and my strong desire to climb and/or replace bad hardware on some of the classic old routes - it looks like I already have an agenda for July 4th.  :yesnod:

Looks like cold and windy again for this weekend.
Rumors of the NE Frontier for Saturday to finish a route with clink.
We'll hang at Climber Coffee again Sunday and then chase sun.
I'm wanting to get back to climbing old stuff and replacing bolts.

Ah, you will witness the legendary mossicles.

I'll wear my biking shorts (actually unicycle shorts) under my pants to ward away harness chafing and keep my mossicles warm and toasty     :nonod:

Yeah right, the real truth is secretly you love Milli  Vanilli.  In fact, I could swear that I have heard you quietly singing "Girl you Know It's True" while drilling.

I'm a little curious, Noal, how you'd know what you were hearing?  ;D

Busted. When I was a teenager I played drums on the Milli Vanilli record.  Don't judge.A gig is a gig.

Summerville High School just went from a "two hour delay" to a "snow day" (school cancelled). Guess who gets to sleep in this morning?

Yeeehaw!!!

It's now rained 1/100th of an inch at Pinnacles. I was going to stay and climb through today, but decided to come home due to the "probability" of rain. I made the right decision. I feel so justified  ;)

Meanwhile, I'm in my office in Sonora right now (yes, I do have a real job). It's snowing huge snowflakes right outside my window.

Almost no sun and mid 40's at Pinns makes me glad I am relaxing at home today. It was raining hard here about 2 hours ago, so I won't be surprised if the crud gets some more precip.
