Prairie Falcon and the New, New Wave
« on: July 18, 2016, 10:04:02 AM »
clink doing a back bend to drill bolt 1 on Prairie Falcon 5.7* - the move to this stance is height dependent and committing

I reached high to drill bolt 2

I was laughing hard when I looked down to my trusty belayer

What he took

JC drills bolt 2

JC testing knobs for the finish of Prairie Falcon

FATR of Imprint: part of the new, new wave. For every FA we do ground up, we use the new anchor to establish two new FATRs. That way when the new guide book is published, the new routes will be 2/3 TRs and 1/3 leadable routes. From a financial standpoint this is an excellent ROI since you get 3 routes for the price of one. Not to mention the royalties!!!

Although the acronym does seem poetic and strangely apropos. I assume it's pronounced: "FATTER."

Note to Mr Mud,
When you drop by this week, be sure to leave me your project note book.

I have the pink spray paint and will start painting the hangers for your routes.

Notebooks are cheating.  It is all in your mind. If you can't find it in there it must have not been that important.
