Stealth camping...
« on: March 17, 2017, 01:39:38 PM »
I have a site reserved for this Sunday night at the campground. Was going to head up Saturday evening and hope for the best on getting a spot (all reservable sites booked for Sat).  If I'm out of luck does anyone know of place(s) to pull over on the east side and sleep in the back of the truck?  No fires, no radios, no noise, don't want to tarnish climbers in the eyes of the locals. Isn't there a long dirt/gravel road that cuts over to one of the freeways?  Any beta would be welcome. I'm not a blabbermouth. Thanks!

You could sleep out right outside of the park and roll in bright and early.

BLM land on hw25....30min or an hour south/east, it's been 20rs since I've been there.

The area is well patrolled.

This is what happens when a place becomes a Nat'l park....campsite fills up.

I hate progress, damn!
