Northwet beer
« on: April 06, 2017, 07:35:14 AM »
If anyone is up in the area I recommend Big Block Brewery on Lake Sammamish Road.  They do not have any overly hopped beers.

Sounds like you've got some good ideas on where to take us when we're up in your area doing the PCT (likely summer of 2018).

I did not act like anything but I also did not give credit where credit is due.  I did learn of this place from a friend of Munge so I figured it had to be good and it is.

That's good no super hoppy beers. No chance of coconut IPA aka stripper beer.

I am not into hopped up beer, but I must say I doubt that I will forget that stripper beer.

Meanwhile, Tricia just placed second in girls JV hurdles (in cold and spitting conditions at our high school).

It's the league meet, so that's out of eight or nine contenders.

Get it together man...Cali beer is better.
 ???

Although I am steering away from Ballast Point and trying to swill more local brews.

Although the German stuff you brought was good. It just didn't last long.

heh, don't know if that means you put it on a shelf for too long, or if you drank all of it in one session.

Not sure if California beer is better.  I can be argued that Washington has a longer history of beer production.  During the turn of the century 1800-1900 Washington was a major beer producer and shipped beer to Alaska supporting the Gold Rush and all the way down to California.  Hops still grow wild around the Puget Sound area. After a while they realized Central Washington was much more conducive to growing hops.
