Horseshoe Slide, a short hike by the lake. 5.4 to 5.10 much of it top ropes.
Causing trouble when not climbing.

Hit the bike park.

Heck yeah!  Climbing is actually taking a backseat to mtb-ing.  :)

Thanks Clink!

I have definitely been doing much more riding than climbing lately.  The mtb riding up here is a bit crazy.  If you folks are ever in the area drop a line I can provide a tour, or if you know of folks coming up this way.  I know of trails that span the gamut of skills from not to challenging to kind of sketchy.

I rented a downhill rig on a Whistler trip.  That rental and the next two days did light a bit of a fire.  I had always enjoyed riding down challenging trails but that just took it to another level.  I enjoy the heck out of it.

I was advised to rent a DH bike from the pro-shop.
That way if you crash, your bike is still okay.

I was also told that is the way to improve your DH skills....riding the same crap over and over.

Sure beats climibing back up from hwy 9 times.

Sounds worthy of a dedicated and intentional trip!  :)

Sunday. Lets do this.

Man you're hard to keep up with!

Are we now talking about:

A:  climbing in Mammoth
B:  hitting the Mammoth bike park
C:  crashing Mud's pad
D:  renting DH bikes in Whistler
E:  going to the gym
2:  heading to the East Side

My post was in response to F4's empty threat to come up and climb, likely on SPH since that's where I was.

He talks big, but is ultimately a responsible adult. :)
